Electric Cars

Electric cars are vehicles that are powered entirely or partially by electricity. They use one or more electric motors for propulsion, drawing energy from rechargeable batteries or fuel cells. Unlike traditional internal combustion engine vehicles, electric cars produce zero tailpipe emissions, making them a cleaner alternative in terms of air pollution and greenhouse gas emissions. They can be charged at home, at public charging stations, or through other electric sources. Electric cars come in various types, including fully electric vehicles (BEVs), which run solely on electric power, and plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEVs), which combine an electric motor with a conventional gasoline engine, allowing for greater flexibility in distance travel. The popularity of electric cars has been rising due to advancements in battery technology, increasing environmental awareness, and government incentives aimed at reducing dependence on fossil fuels.
